About the talk: Our industry is changing, and so should your practice. The days of being a generalist may be coming to a close if you want to take your business to the next level. Professionals want to work with an expert, and one that knows the industry for their vocation. Choosing to become specialized in working with an industry can be a daunting task, especially as you learn to turn business away. However, the rewards of being known as the expert who works only in one industry can far outweigh the risk.
We will discuss the thought process behind this concept, look at where the shift in our industry is happening, and give ideas of how to determine where your specialty might be.
